英国スターリングシルバーの花かごバスケットです。貴婦人のシャポォのように左右に広がりをもたせ中心には自由に角度を代えられるハンドル＆フット部分とバスケットの上部には透かし紋で優美さを醸し出しています。ハンドルの透かし紋様には縁取りをトリミングしていますので重量にも耐えられる仕上げです。透かし紋様を施すところまで水を入れても、中にグラスの落としを当てても十分にお使いいただけます。工房を立ち上げた初代のWilliamWoodwardは1814年頃からホールマークを申請した記録が残されています。ジョージ三世統治下からエドワーディアンへとエレガントな英国銀器を遺したシルバースミスです。

English sterling silver flower basket. Like the lady's Shapo,
it spreads to the left and right, and at the center you can
freely change the angle of the handle and foot, and on the top
of the basket, a watermark is used to create elegance. The openwork
pattern on the handle has a trimmed edging, so it has a weight-resistant
finish. You can use it even if you add water to the place where
the watermark pattern is applied or drop a glass inside. The
first William Woodward, who set up the workshop, has a record
of applying for the Hallmark from around 1814. It is a silver
smith that left the elegant British silverware from the reign
